  Et de sept pour Sébastien Loeb. Le français a remporté dimanche son 7e rallye d'Allemagne consécutif et porte par la même occasion son avance sur le Finlandais mikko Hirvonen à 5 points au classement des pilotes. L'écurie Citrën réalise une très bonne opération en reprennant la tête du classement constructeurs et en portant son avance sur Ford à 8 points. Il ne reste que 5 courses avant la fin de la saison et la bataille fait rage entre les deux écuries, mais sauf erreur, le pilote Français se vera remettre une 5e couronne consécutive.
