Une nouvelle ère de la Saga Star Wars s'ouvre avec la sortie, en août, du tout nouveau long métrage conçu par George Lucas : Star Wars : The Clone Wars, suivi du lancement, cet automne US, de la série télévisée. Le projet, dévoilé le 12 février, associe Lucasfilm Ltd., Warner Bros Pictures et Turner Broadcasting System Inc.


Produit par Lucasfilm Animation : Star Wars : The Clone Wars nous entraîne dans une phénoménale aventure Star Wars, bénéficiant des qualités narratives légendaires de Lucasfilm et d'une animation de pointe. : Star Wars : The Clone Wars débutera sur les écrans nord-américains le 15 août. "J'ai senti qu'il y avait encore de nombreuses histoires Star Wars à raconter", déclare George Lucas, producteur exécutif de : Star Wars : The Clone Wars. "J'étais avide

d'en raconter certaines par le biais de l'animation, et d'élargir du même coup les frontières de cet art."

La sortie en salles de : Star Wars : The Clone Wars n'est que le début de cette nouvelle aventure Star Wars qui se poursuit cet automne avec le démarrage, sur Cartoon Network, de la série TV, dont la diffusion se poursuivra sur TNT. Les détails concernant sa diffusion internationale seront précisés prochainement.
